AYA Drama School Sundays

AYA runs classes every Sunday of the first three terms of each school year (excluding public holidays and special events). The classes are grouped by students’ age and maturity and are determined fresh by the AYA directors at the start of each school year. Our class sizes are capped to ensure individual attention, and to enable student’s work progress and artistic development to be observed.

AYA students are trained in all aspects of performance for stage (and screen) including voice, movement, improvisation, stagecraft, script analysis and characterisation. We use a variety of techniques to train the whole student and provide the opportunity and encouragement for committed students to develop their creativity, uniqueness and personal strength.

Over 70% of AYA students have agency representation giving them openings for professional acting work.

Acceptance into AYA Drama Sundays is by audition only, and is open to applications from young people aged 10-19 years. The fees for AYA2025 are as follows:

Intermediates (Sundays 1-2:30pm) $555 + GST

Teens (Sundays 2:30-4pm) $555 + GST

Young Adults (Sundays 4-6pm) $630 + GST

Note: Admission to AYA runs concurrent with the school terms 1-3 incl. We do not offer term-by-term admission.
